Ganderbal: Gunshots were heard in Shuhama area of Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir here on Today after the government forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in the area. Top Police official told KNO that the forces launched a CASO in Shuhama village of Ganderbal following inputs about the presence of militants. He said that shots were heard after the forces launched searches in the area. However, it was not immediately clear whether it was speculative firing by the forces or the militants fired on them.(KNO)
