‘2615 patients kept under observation’
Srinagar, Mar 17: Three people have been tested in positive so far while no positive case of Covid-19 has been reported in Kashmir so far, officials said on Tuesday. At least 2615 patients have been kept under observation as well while as 230 people have completed 28 days period of surveillance.
According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer, three persons have been tested positive in Jammu while as total number 2615 persons have been kept under observation in J&K till Tuesday evening.
He said that on Tuesday more 137 travelers and persons have been kept under surveillance while the total number of persons who have been kept under home quarantine stands at 2060. The official said that today, 52 more persons completed a period of 28 days surveillance period while as results of five samples is still awaited.
As per the daily information bulletin, the J&K government said that 230 persons completed their surveillance period of 28 days and so far only three cases have been tested positive in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the bulletin on novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 2615 travelers and persons have been put under surveillance who are in contact with suspected cases besides that 2060 persons are under home quarantine. The number of persons who are in hospital quarantine stands at 28
Furthermore, 105 out of 113 samples have been tested negative while as three cases have been tested positive and reports of 05 cases are yet to come—(KNO)
