Where has Modi’s ‘Ache Din Aayne Wale Hein’ promise gone, asks Monga

‘Congress will emerge as single largest party after Assembly polls’

Srinagar: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) vice president and MLC G N MongaThursday lashed out at BJP led NDA government at the center for price hike in petroleum and LPG products and reminded Prime Minister Narendra Modi about his election rhetoric “Ache Din AayneWale Hein.”

In a statement issued here to KNS, Monga said that BJP and Modi were claiming that they will do wonders if they come to power. “Just a month has passed since the BJP government took over at the center and the common man is feeling the heat. First railway fare was hiked substantially and now petrol, diesel and LPG prices have been hiked. It has hit the common man very hard.”

“Where has Modi’s ‘Ache Din Aayne Wale Hein’ promise gone? We are rather heading towards ‘buray din. BJP has always done politics on falsehood and dividing people on communal lines,” he added.

The PCC vice president said that BJP was now trying to woo voters of the state by false promises. “But people of the state will give the communal party a befitting reply in the upcoming Assembly polls.  Congress will emerge stronger in the state after the Assembly polls and under the dynamic leadership of Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz sahib will emerge as single largest party after the polls,” Monga asserted.

He appealed the Congress workers across the state to strengthen the hands of Soz which would be the best answer to communal parties. “Kashmir has always remained on the top priority of All India Congress Committee (AICC) vice president Rahul Gandhiji and in the last few years during UPA government’s tenure, he made lot of efforts for the upliftment of people of J&K. We have to strengthen Rahulji’s and Soz sahib’s hands to strengthen the Congress,” he added. Monga said that only Congress can provide a stable government in the state and hoped that people of Jammu and Kashmir will make the party successful in the upcoming polls.
