Militant killed in an ongoing encounter in Chadoora
\nSrinagar, Jan 8 : A militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter at Chadoora village in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.<\/i><\/p>\n
Official sources told GNS that a joint team of army, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation near Kaneera village in Chadoora.<\/i><\/p>\n
As the joint team of forces intensified the searches, the hiding militants opened fire triggering off a gunfight.<\/i><\/p>\n
A police officer while confirming the incident said that so far a militant has been killed in an ongoing operation.
\n<\/i><\/p>\n
He said that in another separate incident at Bungam area of Thab in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district some suspected militants boarding in a vehicle opened fire on forces party in the area.<\/i><\/p>\n
The whole area has been cordoned off to nab the assailants, he said.<\/i><\/p>\n
