{"id":11868,"date":"2018-05-04T22:21:56","date_gmt":"2018-05-04T16:51:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/?p=11868"},"modified":"2018-05-04T22:21:56","modified_gmt":"2018-05-04T16:51:56","slug":"driver-killed-wife-injured-as-unknown-gunmen-attack-them-in-sopore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=11868","title":{"rendered":"Driver killed, wife injured as unknown gunmen attack them in Sopore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><i>Srinagar:<\/i><\/b><i> A 34-year-old man was shot dead while his wife sustained critical bullet injuries after unknown gunmen opened fire upon them at Harwan area of Sopore in north Kashmir\u2019s Baramulla district.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Official sources told GNS that the unknown gunmen fired upon the Mohammad Ashraf Mir and his wife Saima at around 9:25 pm at their residence at Mir Mohalla Harwan.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Both were rushed to Sub-Dist hospital Sopore where Ashraf was declared as brought dead on arrival, they said.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal confirmed the incident and said that Ashraf was brought dead to hospital while the condition of his wife is said to be critical.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>He said that initial investigations has been revealed that Ashraf was driver by profession.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cA case has been registered into the incident and investigations taken up,\u201d SSP said.
