Srinagar: <\/strong><\/i>Srinagar Mayor Junaid Mattu on Tuesday rubbished the allegations of sexual harassment against him by a woman corporator.<\/i><\/p>\n

While addressing a press conference he said that he want her disqualification.<\/i><\/p>\n

Junaid said that he had the support of more than 40 of the corporators of the municipal corporation and have written to Jammu and Kashmir Governor S P Malik seeking disqualification of the woman corporator for leveling \u201cfalse allegations\u201d.<\/i><\/p>\n

“She want me to indulge in corruption which I cannot she also wants her son\u2019s appointment which I refused, that is the result of all this drama” Mattu told reporters according to Valley Media Service.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u2018I have evidence that she is working on behest and everything is being engineered by sheik Imran,\u201d he said.<\/i><\/p>\n

Junaid said that he has not indulged in any kind of illegal appointment, \u201c if it can be proved to me I will resign,\u201d said junaid.<\/i><\/p>\n

He also said he would file a criminal defamation case against the woman corporator.<\/i><\/p>\n

Earlier the female corporator told reporters that Mayor Junaid Azim Mattu and his PA Firdous Ahmed misbehaved with her in office chambers.<\/i><\/p>\n
