{"id":15894,"date":"2019-01-22T16:09:48","date_gmt":"2019-01-22T10:39:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/?p=15894"},"modified":"2019-01-22T16:09:48","modified_gmt":"2019-01-22T10:39:48","slug":"youth-sustains-grave-head-injury-at-habba-kadal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=15894","title":{"rendered":"Youth sustains grave head injury at Habba Kadal"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong><i>Family says CRPF man tossed a brick at boys head, CRPF says boy was part of a group of miscreants, slipped while running<\/i><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong><i>Srinagar, January 22 :<\/i><\/strong><i> A youth identified as Muhammad Younis son of Bashir Ahmed a resident of Habba Kadal was seriously injured after CRPF men allegedly tossed a brick at his head during clashes.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>The family members of Younis, however, told KNO that they had send their son to buy vegetables and a CRPF man camping in the bunker at the main chowk Habba Kadal lobbed a brick at Younis leaving him critically injured.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>The incident triggered massive protests in the area with the protesters demanding stern punishment against the CRPF man.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>CRPF spokesman in Srinagar, Sanjay Sharma while terming the incident as unfortunate told KNO that a group of five to six youth started pelting stones at the bunker and while chasing them away, a youth slipped and fell down. &#8220;This is the factual story,&#8221; he said.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Meanwhile, a doctor at the SMHS hospital treating Younis said the youth has sustained head injury and there is a fracture in his head bone besides a clot. &#8220;We are sure that he will make it hopefully,&#8221; the doctor said.
