{"id":16308,"date":"2019-01-31T19:15:11","date_gmt":"2019-01-31T13:45:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/?p=16308"},"modified":"2019-01-31T19:15:11","modified_gmt":"2019-01-31T13:45:11","slug":"emotional-burst-as-shahid-reaches-home-on-custody-parole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=16308","title":{"rendered":"Emotional burst as Shahid reaches home on custody parole"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong><i>20 forces personnel keeping watch on him, lodged at Rajbagh PS for night<\/i><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong><i>Srinagar, January 30:<\/i><\/strong><i> Out on custody parole, Hurriyat Conference (M) spokesman, Shahid-ul-Islam was on Thursday allowed to meet his family members while as at least 20 forces personnel were keeping a close watch on him, a family source told KNO.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>The sources said that at 5 pm Shahid was taken back and lodged in Police Station Rajbagh. &#8220;There were emotional scenes at the Sanatnagar residence of Shahid as his wife and two daughters burst into tears after seeing him,&#8221; they told KNO.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>According to the terms of the parole, Shahid-ul-Islam will be taken to Police Station Rajbagh again everyday at 5 pm in the evening till his parole ends.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Arrested in an alleged militant funding case, Shahid-ul-Islam has been undergoing detention at Tihar jail in Delhi for past more than a year. An NIA court had on Monday granted him week-long custody parole after his wife suffered a brain stroke.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Nuzhat Shah, wife of Shahid-ul-Islam had survived a brain stroke on January 12 this year following which she was rushed to a hospital.
