{"id":1695,"date":"2014-04-21T16:47:02","date_gmt":"2014-04-21T16:47:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kashmir-today.net\/?p=1695"},"modified":"2014-04-21T16:47:02","modified_gmt":"2014-04-21T16:47:02","slug":"mirwaiz-lashes-farooq-gurus-hanging-remark","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=1695","title":{"rendered":"Mirwaiz lashes out at Farooq over Guru\u2019s hanging remark"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Srinagar:\u00a0<\/strong>Ridiculing the statement of NC patron Dr Farooq over the hanging of Afzal Guru, Chairman Huriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq\u00a0Monday\u00a0lashed out at him terming the statement an election stunt.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement issued to KNS, Mirwaiz stated that the mainstream camp in Kashmir valley has lost faith of people and the credibility on ground and that after the hanging of Guru, the leaders have no right to remain in power.<\/p>\n<p>Mirwaiz stated that even if it is assumed that pro-establishment parties were not informed about Guru\u2019s hanging, the same proves the very importance of these \u2018so called\u2019 representatives of the people.
