{"id":17236,"date":"2019-03-19T19:06:56","date_gmt":"2019-03-19T13:36:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/?p=17236"},"modified":"2019-03-19T19:06:56","modified_gmt":"2019-03-19T13:36:56","slug":"people-have-right-to-protest-killings-akbar-lone-over-custodial-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=17236","title":{"rendered":"People have right to protest killings: Akbar Lone over custodial death"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>SRINAGAR, MAR 18:<\/em><\/strong><em> Senior National conference leader and former MLA Mohammad Akbar Lone demand action against the alleged custodial death of Rizwan Pandit.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>While speaking to News Agency Press Trust of Kashmir Lone said \u201cwhosoever is involved in this crime should be punished, and case should be register under act 302\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He said that Government should think why always a Kashmiri killed in jail or on roads, everywhere they kill Kashmiri \u201cGovt should tell the reason\u201d, he added.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Lone further added that government have given full hands to army and police to kill Kashmiri without any crime adding that they got license to kill Kashmiri anyhow.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Lone added that until this won\u2019t be stopped, the situation of Kashmir will be never normal. He added that central government is using full force to kill people in Kashmir valley. He further added Governor also wants to kill people in Kashmir.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He said that every day there are killings in Kashmir and this must should be stopped.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He added, \u201cHindustan ki khalaf Nafrat aur bhi zadha hogi ab aanai wali dinu mai\u201d (in coming days people will hate more India. \u201cIf this will be continue the day in not far away when India will lose Kashmir\u201d, Lone added.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Lone added that people have full right to protest and pelt stone when things like this is happening in Kashmir.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cKashmir issue should be resolved and then we can see normally in Kashmir. The problem of Kashmir remained unresolved. Now, rather than following through with a plebiscite, India charged that there were other territorial disputes in the subcontinent\u201d Lone said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Akbar Lone further added that the resolution of the Kashmir dispute has been made intractable over the years due to the premise of Indian-Pakistani bilateralism in dealing with the dispute.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Lone added that Kashmir will remain a zero-sum game between India and Pakistan as long as the dispute over Kashmir is seen as a territorial or an ideological dispute<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Further Lone further added \u201cIndia and Pakistan must seek creative solutions in honoring Kashmiri aspirations\u201d.
