The government today issued advisory for hotels in view of novel coronavirus (Covid-19) situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the advisory, the hoteliers have been asked to make sure that the premises of hotel are clean and hygienic, and the surfaces are wiped with disinfectant regularly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The advisory stresses on promoting regular and thorough hand-washing by employees, employers and customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hotels have been asked to put sanitising hand rub dispensers in prominent places around the workplace and ensure that these dispensers are regularly refilled. The advisory calls for promotion of good respiratory hygiene in the hotel, an official handout said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The advisory has asked the hoteliers to ensure that face masks (surgical mask) and\/or paper tissues are available at their hotels, for those who develop a runny nose or cough at work, along with closed bins for hygienically disposing of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDisplay moments of hand wash, steps of hand wash and respiratory hygiene at reception through posters. Keep IEC\/ FAQs for reference\/ displayed,\u201d the advisory reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The advisory has also directed the hoteliers to keep the visitors\u2019 log book updated and record information in a set format separately for all the guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restrictions imposed in Shopian<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, amid coronavirus scare, the district administration Shopian Saturday imposed section 144 CrPc prohibiting gathering of more than five persons at public places with immediate effect for one month. In this regard, an order was issued by the District Magistrate Shopian under number 1513\/DMS of 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per the order restriction\/ban has been imposed over the assembly\/gathering of more than 5 persons at any public place \u201cin entire Shopian district which includes Shopian town and its adjoining areas with immediate effect for a period of one month\u201d.\u00a0 People have been cautioned against violating the order.\u00a0 \u201cAny violation of this order by any person shall invite action under IPC,\u201d the order reads.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
