{"id":22293,"date":"2020-03-29T22:56:36","date_gmt":"2020-03-29T17:26:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/chinese-scientists-have-developed-a-vaccine-to-combat-the-coronavirus-trails-showing-satisfactory-results-strong-research-capability\/"},"modified":"2020-03-29T22:56:36","modified_gmt":"2020-03-29T17:26:36","slug":"chinese-scientists-have-developed-a-vaccine-to-combat-the-coronavirus-trails-showing-satisfactory-results-strong-research-capability-ahead","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=22293","title":{"rendered":"Chinese scientists have developed a vaccine to combat the Coronavirus; Trails showing satisfactory results, strong research capability"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Chinese Scientists have found a nanomaterial that can absorb and deactivate the virus with 96.5 &#8211; 99.9% efficiency. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Source: <\/em><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outlookindia.com\/newsscroll\/china-develops-nanomaterial-to-combat-coronavirus-report\/1784416\">IANS<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Beijing, March 29 (IANS)<\/strong>: A team of Chinese scientists has reportedly developed a novel way to combat the new coronavirus that causes the Covid-19 disease which has killed over 32,000 people globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Global Times, the new weapon is not a drug or a compound but some nanomaterial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Chinese scientists have developed a new weapon to combat the #coronavirus,&#8221; the news portal tweeted on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;They say they have found a nanomaterial that can absorb and deactivate the virus with 96.5-99.9 per cent efficiency,&#8221; it added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nanomaterials are used in a variety of manufacturing processes, products and healthcare including paints, filters, insulation and lubricant additives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In healthcare, Nanozymes are nanomaterials with enzyme-like characteristics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the US NIH, scientists have not unanimously settled on a precise definition of nanomaterials, but agree that they are partially characterized by their tiny size, measured in nanometers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Nanotechnology can be used to design pharmaceuticals that can target specific organs or cells in the body such as cancer cells, and enhance the effectiveness of therapy,&#8221; said NIH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, while engineered nanomaterials provide great benefits, &#8220;we know very little about the potential effects on human health and the environment.
