Earlier, also he spent a couple of years in jail on charges of being sympathizers of militants. He is currently lodged at Srinagar Central Jail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; margin: 0in 0in 10pt; line-height: 18.0473px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"line-height:18.0473px;\"> The family of Mir, told Kashmir News Trust that his wife is suffering from multiple ailments and there is nobody to take care of her. His kids and wife are suffering immensely and we request authorities to release him at his time when Covid-19 threat is looming in Kashmir,\u201d they said.
