Reports said that unidentified youth resorted to heavy stone-pelting and tried to smash the windowpanes of the residence of the Higher Education Minister.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Eyewitnesses said that the supporters of the Minister retaliated and the both groups clashed with each other for quite some time. The unidentified youth according to reports managed to flee from the spot.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Sub-Divisional Police Officer Sumbal, Bashir Ahmed told CNS that some youth from Sopore town reportedly had arrived in Naidkahi and they pelted stones on police at main-chowk. \u201cOne youth while fleeing from the area tried to pelt the stones on the residence of the Minister who was thrashed by the people accordingly,\u201d he said adding the police have arrested no youth.
