According to a statement issued to KNS, on specific intelligence input of presence of a hideout in Hafruda forest area of Bod Bhangas in Nowgam, a joint operation was launched by an Army unit and JK Police. After deliberate search of the area, 1 AK Rifle,616 rounds of ammunition, 5 Pistols with 25 rounds, 15 Hand Grenades, 1 Radioset, 1 Binocular, 1 Bag and large quantity of rations were recovered.
