Vaccines for this pandemic are not for the wealthy, they are not for the poor, they are for everybody,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The U.S. government will pay $1.95 billion to buy 100 million doses of a COVID-19 vaccine being developed by Pfizer Inc and German biotech BioNTech if it proves safe and effective, the companies said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ryan also cautioned schools to be careful about re-opening until community transmission of COVID-19 is under control.
