{"id":30357,"date":"2020-07-24T12:02:40","date_gmt":"2020-07-24T06:32:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/?p=30357"},"modified":"2020-07-24T12:02:40","modified_gmt":"2020-07-24T06:32:40","slug":"notorious-criminal-held-under-psa-in-jks-samba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=30357","title":{"rendered":"Notorious criminal held under PSA in J&#038;K&#8217;s Samba"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ptinews.com\/news\/11667026_Notorious-criminal-held-under-PSA-in-J-K-s-Samba.html\">PTI<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jammu<\/strong>:\u00a0Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday arrested a notorious criminal under the Public Safety Act (PSA) in Samba district, officials said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police has booked and detained notorious criminal Chain Singh under the J&amp;K Public Safety Act (PSA) for his criminal activities on the detention orders issued by the Samba district magistrate, they added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The accused has been booked in four separate criminal cases registered against him in Bari-Brahmana police station, they further said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Singh has become a threat to the &#8220;peaceful atmosphere&#8221; forcing authorities to detain him under the PSA, they added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keeping in view his repeated involvement in criminal activities and land grabbing in the area, a dossier was prepared by Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba and forwarded to the DM who formally issued the order of his detention, they added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The detention warrant was executed by a police team and the accused has been lodged in Hiranagar sub-jail.<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PTI Jammu:\u00a0Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday arrested a notorious criminal under the Public Safety Act (PSA) in Samba district, officials said.
