{"id":30906,"date":"2020-08-07T22:43:25","date_gmt":"2020-08-07T17:13:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/?p=30906"},"modified":"2020-08-07T22:43:25","modified_gmt":"2020-08-07T17:13:25","slug":"srinagar-kupwara-and-gulmarg-record-highest-day-temperatures-of-the-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=30906","title":{"rendered":"Srinagar, Kupwara and Gulmarg record highest day temperatures of the season"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Friday recorded the season&#8217;s highest temperature at 35.4 degrees Celsius, which is 6 degrees above season&#8217;s average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The day temperature in Jammu settled at 32.2 degrees Celsius, which is 1 degree below normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Qazigund, Pahalgam and Kokernag recorded maximum temperatures at 32.3\u00b0C, 29.3\u00b0C and 31.6\u00b0C respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Kupwara and Gulmarg also recorded this season&#8217;s highest day temperatures at 36.3\u00b0C and 27.0\u00b0C respectively,&#8221; said he. &#8220;Mercury in Gulmarg was 7 degrees above normal while as in Kupwara it was 6 degrees above normal.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile Kashmir Weather has predicted several spells of rain &amp; thunderstorms till 12th August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Some brief spells of rain, thundershowers with gusty winds is possible from tonight till August 12,&#8221; &#8220;Temperatures are likely to come down from tomorrow onwards.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Friday recorded the season&#8217;s highest temperature at 35.4 degrees Celsius, which is 6 degrees above season&#8217;s average.
