{"id":34302,"date":"2020-10-15T22:16:01","date_gmt":"2020-10-15T16:46:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/?p=34302"},"modified":"2020-10-15T22:16:01","modified_gmt":"2020-10-15T16:46:01","slug":"my-town-my-pride-to-be-organized-on-19th-20th-october","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=34302","title":{"rendered":"My Town, My Pride\u2019 to be organized on 19th-20th October"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Aims at empowering ULBs, providing proactive governance at door-step<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Srinagar<\/strong>: The Chief Secretary, B V R Subrahmanyam Thursday chaired a meeting to review preparations for the upcoming \u2018My Town, My Pride\u2019 programme to be organized across the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) on 19th- 20th October, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Administrative Secretaries of departments of Home, and Housing &amp; Urban Development, besides Divisional Commissioners of Jammu and Kashmir along with Commissioners SMC\/JMC, all the Deputy Commissioners, and concerned HoDs participated in the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Aimed at further empowering and strengthening the framework of the Urban Local Bodies, the 2-day programme will include closer review of their functioning, besides taking up mobilisation of funds toward developmental activities in addition to the public outreach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>On the lines of recently concluded \u2018Back to Village\u2019 programme, the \u2018My Town, My Pride\u2019 programme also envisages time-bound delivery of documents like domicile, SC\/ST\/RBA\/ALC\/OBC certificates; revenue services besides ensuring benefits under various welfare schemes including pensions, scholarships, PMAY, KCC, Health Golden Cards, Ladli Beti, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>It has been decided that for the purpose of providing a mega push to the developmental activities Rs 50 lakh, Rs 1 crore and Rs 5 crore will be released to each Municipality, Municipal Council, and Municipal Corporation, respectively.(KINS)<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aims at empowering ULBs, providing proactive governance at door-step Srinagar: The Chief Secretary, B V R Subrahmanyam Thursday chaired a meeting to review preparations for the upcoming \u2018My Town, My Pride\u2019 programme to be organized across the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) on 19th- 20th October, 2020.
