{"id":35922,"date":"2021-01-09T19:05:45","date_gmt":"2021-01-09T13:35:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/?p=35922"},"modified":"2021-01-09T19:05:45","modified_gmt":"2021-01-09T13:35:45","slug":"ten-employees-including-dak-president-dr-suhail-nayak-found-absent-from-duties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=35922","title":{"rendered":"Ten employees including DAK president Dr Suhail Nayak found absent from duties"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>\u2018SDM pitches for their suspension\u2019<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><b>Baramulla<\/b>: Sub-District Magistrate made a surprise visit to Trauma Hospital located in Pattan town of North Kashmir\u2019s Baramulla district and found at least ten staffers including five doctors absent from duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Among those who were found absent were President of one of the factions of Doctors Association Kashmir Dr Suhail Nayak, Dr Asim Rather (USG) Dr Zeeza (Dentist) , Dr Mehmooda (Dentist) , Dr Arshid Hussain (Physician) and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>During the inspection SDM Pattan also found NRHM, Dental, RNTCP, USG Sections locked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SDM Pattan Syed Faheem told news agency KNT that he made the surprise visit at around 1:15 PM after receiving complaints that in absence of doctors and para-medical staff, patients are suffering immensely. \u201cI was told most of the patients who visit the Trauma Hospital from far flung areas return back, when they found doctors absent. This is unacceptable and during my visit I found ten employees absent,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Syed Faheem added that he has recommended their suspension before Deputy Commissioner Baramulla till then Block Medical Officer has been asked to withhold the salaries of these employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>A couple of patients who talked to KNT demanded stern action against the absentees saying snowfall can\u2019t be an excuse for a doctor on whom ailing patients rely.
