{"id":36677,"date":"2021-02-12T21:47:44","date_gmt":"2021-02-12T16:17:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/?p=36677"},"modified":"2021-02-12T21:47:44","modified_gmt":"2021-02-12T16:17:44","slug":"camel-slaughter-in-pulwama-attracts-beeline-of-customers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=36677","title":{"rendered":"Camel slaughter in Pulwama attracts beeline of customers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Pulwama, Feb 12: A slaughter of camel on Friday in Pulwama attracted hundreds of customers who could be seen waiting for hours in a queue to buy the meat.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Locals from Wanpora Village in newa belt of Pulwama district said that a camel was slaughtered by local butcher Fayaz Ahmad which attracted thousands of locals to get the meat.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>They said that hundreds of people of Wanpora and nearby villages after hearing about the slaughter of camel reached to the butcher shop and purchased its meat.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>They further added that people even waited for hours in queues to get their hands on the meat.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Zahid Ahmad, a local resident, said that he was surprised when he saw a large number of people waiting to get meat.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We had a guest at home, so I was in a hurry to buy the meat but due to huge rush I had to wait for over one and a half hour for my turn,&#8221; he said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I had no intention to bring meat today but when I heard about camel meat, I rushed to get it.
