{"id":38228,"date":"2021-05-15T19:32:17","date_gmt":"2021-05-15T14:02:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/?p=38228"},"modified":"2021-05-15T19:32:17","modified_gmt":"2021-05-15T14:02:17","slug":"vaccination-hugely-reduces-chances-of-death-nhm-analysis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=38228","title":{"rendered":"Vaccination hugely reduces chances of death: NHM Analysis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Srinagar:<\/em><\/strong><em> National Health Mission in its analysis with regard to Covid-19 mortality in Jammu and Kashmir has stated that 93% of Covid-19 positive critical cases who died from the mid-April were unvaccinated while 7% were partially vaccinated.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> It said that it clearly establishes that vaccination hugely reduces chances of death.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> The NHM analysis as per news agency Kashmir News Trust states that delayed testing can prove really fatal. It said that 46% of deaths occurred within 3 days of Testing positive, thus indicating that they were well into late stages of infection before they got tested. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>NHM has asked patients not to be denial mode of your symptoms and get tested immediately so that treatment could start early.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> The analysis further states that delay in hospitalization directly increases likelihood of mortality. It says that 49.37% of total deaths were of those who despite being symptomatic arrived late in hospitals.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>NHM has asked patients not to rely on self-medication at home.
