Srinagar:<\/strong> Chief Patron Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) Muhammad Azam Inqilabi\u00a0Saturday<\/span>\u00a0condemned Delhi\u2019s \u201cimperialist designs\u201d and lauded people for observing strike on July 04 on Indian Premier\u2019s visit.<\/p>\n

In a statement here, Inqilabi said the strike showed people are \u201ccommitted towards resistance movement.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn fact hartal on July 04 was in a way referendum against India\u2019s colonial rule of Kashmir,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

MeA patron termed Pakistan\u2019s K-policy as \u201capologetic\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir (Pakistan\u2019s) stand is only strengthening status-quo here. Politics of onions and potatoes on Kashmir front after eight wars shows lack of determination,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cIndia wants to browbeat Kashmiris into submission. And through chanakiyan fraud and deceit wants to divert attention from Kashmir and break will for resistance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring the past 67 years India martyred six lakh Kashmiris which includes pro-freedom leaders like Maqbool Bhat, Afzal Guru, Moulvi Farooq, Ab. Gani Lone, Jaleel Andrabi, S. Hameed, Sheikh Aziz, Dr. Gh.Qadir Wani, Qazi Nisar, Ashfaq Majeed Wani, Adv. Husaam-ud-din, Shamsul Haq, Dr. Ashai, Maqbool Malik, Dr. Guroo and many others.\u201d<\/p>\n

In such a situation, he said, Islamic scholars and leaders should urge Muslim rulers to shun hypocrisy.<\/p>\n

\u201cArab rulers should stop oil supply to India as it provides strength to its imperialist system. The policy of oil for India and Zamzam water for Kashmiris is taking toll on our struggle,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Inqilabi said Pakistan needs a rethink on its Kashmir policy. \u201cWe feel the leadership there isn\u2019t serious about ideology of Pakistan.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey (Pakistani leadership) have forgotten Dhaka declaration, neutralized the revolutionary role of Azad Kashmir as base camp of our freedom struggle and remain passive spectator of Indian stratocracy in Kashmir,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cNow Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Sahab is visiting one locality after another to reform society, this is a result of your (Pakistan\u2019s) ineffective K-policy that now even our Milli-identity is under threat. So are our water resources.\u201d<\/p>\n

MeA patron said India has \u201cstretched its claws on our resources and exploited them for its own benefit, leaving Kashmiris in lurch.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said if Pakistan doesn\u2019t \u201cact to end disillusionment in Kashmir then it will have serious repercussions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t treat Kashmiris as an expendable pawn, your politics of onions and potatoes (the Loc barter) cannot lessen the hardships of Kashmiris,\u201d he said in the statement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
