Samsung may not have announced any plans for its next Galaxy S flagship smartphone (reportedly codenamed ‘Project Zero’) likely to debut next year; however, reports related to the company’s plans have started to emerge.<\/p>\n
Sammobile claims that it “can confirm” that the next Galaxy flagship will be called Galaxy S6. The publication has also learned that\u00a0Samsung<\/a>, similar on the lines ofSamsung Galaxy Note 4<\/a>\u00a0and limited edition Galaxy Note Edge, will launch the Galaxy S6 Edge alongside the Galaxy S6.<\/p>\n (Also see<\/b>:\u00a0Samsung Mobile Chief J.K. Shin Keeps Job in Reshuffle<\/a>)<\/p>\n It however goes on to\u00a0claim<\/a>\u00a0that “the name could change in the coming months,” but that it was not very probable.<\/p>\n As of now, details related to the Galaxy S6 Edge are limited; though Sammobile speculates that it will sport one-sided curved screen, reminiscent of the\u00a0Samsung Galaxy Note Edge<\/a>.<\/p>\n Notably, the current report somewhat contradicts an earlier report that suggested the Galaxy S6 might feature\u00a0‘dual-edged’ display<\/a>\u00a0that will be curved on both (right and left) sides.
