{"id":50064,"date":"2022-01-18T11:01:03","date_gmt":"2022-01-18T05:31:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/pfizer-ceo-says-this-may-be-last-covid-wave-with-restrictions\/"},"modified":"2022-01-18T11:01:03","modified_gmt":"2022-01-18T05:31:03","slug":"pfizer-ceo-says-this-may-be-last-covid-wave-with-restrictions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=50064","title":{"rendered":"Pfizer CEO says this may be last Covid wave with restrictions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>New Delhi:<\/strong> Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said on Monday that although the \u201cmost likely scenario\u201d is that Coronavirus will be circulating for many years to come, he believes the current wave of infections will be the final one that requires restrictions, Times of Israel reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bourla gave an interview to French outlet BFM TV to mark the announcement of an investment package by the pharma firm in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bourla also touted the effectiveness and safety of vaccines, saying that he believed people will continue to require booster shots, the report said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s important that people receive the three-dose regimen of Pfizer\u2019s Coronavirus vaccine, and will likely then require annual boosters although the immunocompromised could require them every four months,\u201d Bourla said, adding: \u201cChildren must be vaccinated in order to protect them.
