{"id":50466,"date":"2022-02-04T23:04:16","date_gmt":"2022-02-04T17:34:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/delimitation-commission-shares-its-second-report-with-jk-mps\/"},"modified":"2022-02-04T23:04:16","modified_gmt":"2022-02-04T17:34:16","slug":"delimitation-commission-shares-its-second-report-with-jk-mps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=50466","title":{"rendered":"Delimitation commission shares its second report with J&amp;K MPs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Srinagar, Feb 04:<\/strong> The delimitation commission constituted by the Government of India to redraw J&amp;K\u2019s electoral map on Friday evening shared its second report with five members of parliament (MPs) from the Union Territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sources told news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the report defining boundaries of 90 assembly segments of Jammu &amp; Kashmir, was shared with MPs at 7: 00 pm today. \u201cThe report has been sent to all MPs from J&amp;K,\u201d they said, adding that entire process of delimitation is likely to be completed in next one month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to sources, the delimitation commission has also asked MPs to submit their objections, if any, over the report. \u201cAfter they will file objections, the commission will seek objections and suggestions from the general public and hold sittings at different places to consider these suggestions, \u201cthey said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On December 20, the panel shared district\u2014wise seat allocation with MPs from Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its report, the panel proposed six new seats for Jammu division and one in Kashmir division\u2014(KNO)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, Feb 04: The delimitation commission constituted by the Government of India to redraw J&amp;K\u2019s electoral map on Friday evening shared its second report with five members of parliament (MPs) from the Union Territory.
