{"id":52209,"date":"2022-10-03T16:26:36","date_gmt":"2022-10-03T10:56:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/sextortion-case-close-aid-of-nadeem-nadu-arrested\/"},"modified":"2022-10-03T16:26:36","modified_gmt":"2022-10-03T10:56:36","slug":"sextortion-case-close-aid-of-nadeem-nadu-arrested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=52209","title":{"rendered":"Sextortion case:- close aid of Nadeem Nadu arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Srinagar, Oct 3:<\/em><\/strong> J&amp;K Police have arrested another person in a sextortion case in Jammu and Kashmir\u2019s Anantnag district<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably Nadeem Ahmed Ganie alias Nadeem Nadu, \u201ca self-proclaimed journalist,\u201d was arrested on Saturday from the south Kashmir district after a woman accused him of rape and extortion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now police has arrested another person identified as Salman Shah, a close friend of Ganie, the official told Kashmir News Apex- (KNA) said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shah is also a journalist working with few media outlets and he has been arrested during a raid in Anantnag district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Srinagar police arrested a self-proclaimed journalist Nadeem Ahmed Ganie @ Nadeem Nadu, a resident of Qazibagh, Anantnag, in a rape case on a complaint received from a girl,\u201d a police spokesman had said on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The victim has also alleged that the accused took her objectionable pictures after sedating her and used these to blackmail her into forced sexual intercourse many times.<br \/>.<br \/>\u201cThe accused also took her gold ornaments in the course of blackmailing her. Pertinent to mention, the lady was a student in an institution in central Kashmir at the time of the occurrence of this crime,\u201d the spokesman added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police has constituted a SIT in this regard to investigate the matter.
