{"id":52247,"date":"2022-10-11T21:48:29","date_gmt":"2022-10-11T16:18:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmir.today\/sexual-exploitation-case-nadeem-nadu-sent-to-judicial-custody\/"},"modified":"2022-10-11T21:48:29","modified_gmt":"2022-10-11T16:18:29","slug":"sexual-exploitation-case-nadeem-nadu-sent-to-judicial-custody","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=52247","title":{"rendered":"Sexual exploitation case: Nadeem Nadu sent to judicial custody"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Srinagar, Sep 11:<\/em><\/strong> A court on Tuesday sent Nadeem Nadu, the main accused in the sexual exploitation of a university student, to judicial remand after his police remand came to an end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sources told news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Nadu, a self-proclaimed journalist from Anantnag, was produced before a court, which sent him to judicial custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On September 30, Nadeem Ahmad Ganie, alias Nadeem Nadu was arrested by the Jammu &amp; Kashmir police on charges of rape, extortion and criminal intimidation on the basis of a complaint of a girl, who was sexually exploited by him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her complaint, the victim said that the accused took her objectionable pictures after sedating her and used these to blackmail her into forced sexual intercourse many times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from Nadu, two more persons- a self-styled journalist and an employee of Public Health Engineering- have also been arrested by the police in the case so far\u2014(KNO)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, Sep 11: A court on Tuesday sent Nadeem Nadu, the main accused in the sexual exploitation of a university student, to judicial remand after his police remand came to an end.
