{"id":55,"date":"2014-04-04T16:17:00","date_gmt":"2014-04-04T16:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kashmir-today.net\/no-difference-between-congress-bjp-hurriyat-g\/"},"modified":"2014-04-04T16:17:00","modified_gmt":"2014-04-04T16:17:00","slug":"no-difference-between-congress-bjp-hurriyat-g","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=55","title":{"rendered":"No difference between Congress, BJP: Hurriyat G"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div><b style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">Srinagar:<\/b><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">Hurriyat Conference headed Syed Ali Shah Geelani<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">&nbsp;Friday<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">said Congress party is communal in the disguise of secularism and is equally \u2018anti-Muslim\u2019 like the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP).<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kashmir.watch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/000_Del6132382.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/kashmir.watch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/000_Del6132382.jpg\" height=\"298\" width=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">Reacting to the India media reports that claimed former Prime Minister of India, P V Narsimha Rao \u2013 who was associated with Congress \u2013 along with BJP leader LK Advani and other Sangh leaders were aware about the \u2018planned demolition\u2019 of historic Babri Masjid, the Hurriyat spokesman Ayaz Akbar told GNS: \u201cFrom the day one, we were saying that Congress was also involved in Babri Masjid demolition along with other Sanghis.\u201d Akbar said Congress tried to hide the reality but it failed to do so.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;\">\u201cThe Congress party is wearing RSS knickers. It is anti-Muslim party like BJP. They are same and have no difference. It is absolutely wrong that Congress is a secular party,\u201d he said.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;\">The Hurriyat spokesman alleged that Muslims in India are being treated as \u2018second class citizens\u2019. \u201cIndian Muslims are being treated as second class citizens. Neither Congress nor BJP have done anything good for them. They remember Muslims at the time of election,\u201d he said.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;\">Hitting out at BJP Prime Ministerial candidate, Akbar said: \u201cIt would be dangerous for Indian Muslims if Modi becomes Prime Minister as his nomination is part of RSS\u2019s plan.
