{"id":564,"date":"2014-02-26T07:35:00","date_gmt":"2014-02-26T07:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kashmir-today.net\/hizbul-mujahideen-says-mast-gul-no-more-its-member\/"},"modified":"2014-02-26T07:35:00","modified_gmt":"2014-02-26T07:35:00","slug":"hizbul-mujahideen-says-mast-gul-no-more-its-member","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=564","title":{"rendered":"Hizbul Mujahideen says Mast Gul no more its member"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div><b>MUZAFFARABAD:<\/b> Upset by media reports linking a \u2018militant commander\u2019 from a tribal area with it, the largest fighter group in India-held Kashmir, Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), on Tuesday deplored what it termed an attempt to tarnish its image.<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kashmir.watch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/530d49744c0bb.jpeg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/kashmir.watch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/530d49744c0bb.jpeg\" height=\"240\" width=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div>\u201cAttempts to affiliate someone claiming responsibility for bomb blasts in Pakistan with Hizbul Mujahideen to dent its credibility are upsetting and painful,\u201d said the group in a brief statement issued here, in a reference to Major Mast Gul, alias Haroon Khan.<\/div>\n<div><o:p><\/o:p><\/div>\n<div>An earlier statement of the group mentioned Mr Gul by name, while recalling that he had quit Hizbul Mujahideen before 2001.
