{"id":8613,"date":"2017-02-03T11:12:02","date_gmt":"2017-02-03T05:42:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kashmir.today\/?p=8613"},"modified":"2017-02-03T11:12:02","modified_gmt":"2017-02-03T05:42:02","slug":"geelani-icu-chest-pain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=8613","title":{"rendered":"Geelani in ICU after chest pain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Srinagar:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em>Senior separatist leader and chairman of the hardline faction of the Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani was today admitted to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) after he complained of severe chest pain.Though his condition was said to be stable by doctors, he had been kept under observation at the ICU (Medical) of the institute.Later, separatist leaders Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik visited Geelani in the hospital to enquire about his condition.Hurriyat spokesman Ayaz Akbar said Geelani complained of massive chest congestion and pain late on Wednesday night.\u201cHe was immediately rushed to SKIMS, Soura, where several tests, including ECG, were repeatedly conducted.
