{"id":9028,"date":"2017-03-09T16:47:28","date_gmt":"2017-03-09T11:17:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kashmir.today\/?p=9028"},"modified":"2017-03-09T16:47:28","modified_gmt":"2017-03-09T11:17:28","slug":"800-antique-coins-found-in-budgam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=9028","title":{"rendered":"800 antique coins found in Budgam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Srinagar:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em>The state Archaeology Department on Wednesday claimed that it had found a treasure-trove of coins, minted almost a thousand years ago, during excavation in central Kashmir\u2019s Budgam district.The department said its expert team recovered a \u201choard of ancient copper coins\u201d from a plateau of Nonar village in Budgam\u2019s Khan Sahib area.\u201cDuring the trial excavation, a hoard of coins was exposed and recovered.
