A\u00a0 Kashmiri woman living in India has developed a mobile application with another person to help foreign tourists who need assistance for their travel across the country.<\/em><\/p>\n

Foreign tourists have many questions before they decide to travel to India. Because of the travel advisories and stories in media, they think about their safety before planning their visit to India.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWe developed an application for assistance to foreign tourists. And provide assistance and distress management service to the tourists who connect with us,\u201d says Moqierish Tak, who is the cofounder with Harish Khatri of India Assists app. Moqierish Tak is from the Anantnag district of Kashmir.<\/em><\/p>\n

The assistance is provided to the tourists in distressing situations like theft, medical complications, transit problems or altercation with someone.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cA tourist first enrolls with us through a call, then a call is generated to our customer care through the app,\u201d she says.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWe provide phone assistance allover India.\u00a0 But ground service is provided in Jaipur, Delhi and Agra cities,\u201d she says.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWe help them by connecting them to concerned authorities,\u201d she says.<\/em><\/p>\n

The app is available on Android phones and will be available on IoS soon.<\/em><\/p>\n

The duo is in talks with the Kashmir tourism authorities and wants to provide assistance to the visitors who visit the tourist-heaven.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are discussing the idea with Kashmir tourism authorities,\u201d she says.<\/em><\/p>\n
