{"id":9452,"date":"2017-04-29T21:38:16","date_gmt":"2017-04-29T16:08:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kashmir.today\/?p=9452"},"modified":"2017-04-29T21:38:16","modified_gmt":"2017-04-29T16:08:16","slug":"weatherman-predicts-rains-snow-next-24-hours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmir.watch\/?p=9452","title":{"rendered":"Weatherman predicts more rains, snow in next 24 hours"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Srinagar:<\/strong> The intermittent rains since the wee hours of Saturday morning lashed Valley while the South Kashmir\u2019s Pahalgam area received a fresh snowfall.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>An official in the Meteorological (MeT) department told KNS, \u201cThere is possibility of light to moderate rains or snow at most of the places over the state in next 24 hours.\u201d <\/em><br \/>\n<em>He said that the weather would continue to remain wet in the next upcoming days. \u201cThere would be occasional sunshine during the next few days,\u201d he added.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>The official informed KNS that besides the rainfall at most of the places over the state today, the South Kashmir\u2019s Pahalgam area has received a fresh snowfall.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201c6.8 cm of snow was recorded in Pahalgam till 05 pm,\u201d he informed.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Meanwhile, the intermittent rains since the wee hours of this morning have resulted in the inundation of the City areas.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>The residents at various areas including Khanyar, Baba Demb and others informed KNS that the main as well as the interior roads in the areas are inundated with the muddy water thereby resulted in the sufferings to the locals.
